About us

MB RED ANGUS RANCH, started in the fall of 1996 with the purchase of 4 mature cows having 4 fall calves at the side and 7 yearling open heifers. The purchase was from the Hanging W Ranch near Spur, Texas. After a 14 hour ride home to central Kansas, the Red Angus cows became the base herd of Mike and Cinda Becker's registered cattle. The two bull calves became herd bulls for their commercial herd of mixed angus-simmental cattle and the heifer calves and all quality heifers born since have added to the number which now totals 21 cows. In the spring of 1997, Mike attended A.I. school in Russell, KS sponsored by ABS and has since had excellent success with A.I. work on both the fall calving Red Angus and the spring calving commercial cows. After a couple of years, the bull numbers were met and exceeded for the commercial cow herd and Red Angus Bulls were then offered for sale.
